Mike is a cowboy at heart and his book, A Cowboy Life, are a reflection of his feelings for the cowboy and the old west. Writing poetry for over 25 years, Mike captures the real-life stories of cowboys and the life they lead. His inspiration is driven by his deep love of the people who choose this path of the cowboy. Along the way, Mike has gained first-hand experience by owning a ranch in Ocala, Florida, where he kept as many as 63 horses, and participated in rodeo events including barrel racing, calf and team roping as well as western pleasure, reining, and cutting.
In addition to being a poet, Mike is a Nashville recording artist, performing throughout the southern United States. You can see Mike as a Host on The Gem Shopping Network nationally 3 days a week. Mike and his wife Kathy live in Duluth, Georgia, and enjoy spending time in Colorado riding horses.
