How to Adjust the Touch Sensitivity on your Yamaha NU1X

“Avant/Hybrid Series”

  1. While holding the Piano/Voice button, touch the highest “A” note – the top “C” note on the top right. Each note will change your touch sensitivity on your piano.
  2. This is found on page 22 of your owners manual with a chart that will tell you which level of sensitivity you may want or like to try.   *If you are an N3X owner it is on page 24 with the same instructions.
  3. *If you hold the Piano/Voice button and push the Top “A” note to the right it will turn touch sensitivity off. This means it will play the same whether you hit the key hard of soft.  I use this if I am utilizing the organ sounds.
