It’s definitely a 2-person job, and if your piano has front legs with casters attached to the legs, make sure you take the weight off those legs or risk breaking them. If your home has hardwood floors, or if you’re moving a grand piano – always hire professionals. Also, if you’re moving your piano to a different address, we recommend you hire professionals. Damage to the instrument, your home, or to the people moving the instrument is much more likely when you attempt a DIY piano move.
