Thursday, August 6th, 2015, Miller Piano Specialists celebrates their 2nd year hosting Writer’s Night to benefit Faces of HNC – head and neck cancer and awareness! It will begin at 7pm in the Miller Piano Specialists’ Showroom. It is designed to raise awareness and help in the fight for more research dollars in this area of this type of cancer. This non profit was founded by local artist, Debra Sheridan.
The evening also included words from founder, Debra Sheridan. Her art will also be displayed for a silent auction to show “beauty” can be found in many things, that we sometimes overlook or take advantage of seeing. You will hear more about this in the upcoming weeks.
We were very pleased to have several special guest performing and on hand for this wonderful cause and musical event. Songs were written for this occasion and will be performed by artists that have been touched or feel compelled to share their talents to raise awareness for head and neck cancer. We will be having hors devours with a social time to follow for questions you may have on this type of cancer that is growing in our society on a daily basis.
