The Plan includes two tunings per year (Monthly plans accrue one tuning credit every 6 months of continuous membership, Annual plans include two tuning credits immediately), $0 service-call minimum for covered minor issues (typically under 30 minutes), up to 3 emergency visits per membership year with no emergency-visit fee, and 15% off any additional piano technical services and parts (regulation, voicing, repairs, etc.).

How does the Monthly Plan work?+
The Monthly Plan is $30/month. To get started, there is $150 total due at signup, which includes your initial tuning and assessment to establish a baseline. After that, you continue at $30/month, and you accrue one tuning credit every six (6) months of continuous active membership. If you pause or cancel, accrual pauses. After signing up, our team will contact you typically within 24 business hours to schedule your tuning and kick off your maintenance!
How does the Annual Plan work?+
The Annual Plan is $300/year and includes two (2) tuning credits immediately, and reloads upon renewal. Your first tuning credit can be used right away for the initial tuning and assessment, so there’s no separate startup fee. Annual membership is the best value at just $25/month when paid annually.
What if my piano doesn’t qualify for the Plan?+
Most pianos we see qualify for the Spruce Piano Care Plan. In some cases, very old or unmaintained instruments, or pianos that require substantial work (including certain structural issues that prevent the piano from being tunable), may not qualify immediately. Eligibility is determined at your initial visit by a Miller Piano Specialists technician. The initial payment is non-refundable because it covers the cost of the assessment.
What counts as a covered “minor issue”?+
Covered minor issues are quick fixes that can typically be resolved in under 30 minutes, such as sticking keys, a squeaky pedal, or small adjustments to improve playability. If we arrive and the issue is more involved or requires additional parts, we’ll discuss options with you first, and any additional work is billed at the 15% member discount.
How do emergency visits work?+
An emergency is something that pops up and inhibits playability that needs resolved quickly. Members receive up to three (3) emergency visits per membership year, and the emergency-visit fee is waived. If an emergency visit requires a tuning and you do not have a tuning credit available, the tuning is billed at the standard price minus your 15% member discount. If major repair work is needed, it’s quoted and billed separately at the member discount.
What’s your cancellation policy?+
There is no contract. You can pause or cancel anytime. That said, a 12-month commitment is encouraged to fully realize the value of the plan. Benefits (including tuning accrual on the Monthly Plan) are available only while your membership is active and paid. For Annual plans, prorated refunds may be offered at MPS discretion depending on services rendered.
