Catherine Davis is an educator, composer, and performer. Her career in music began early in life and continued with a BA in Music Education at the University of Texas in Austin. She has been an active member of Music Teacher’s National Association (MTNA), Texas Music Teacher’s Association (TMTA), and Austin District Music Teacher’s Association (ADMTA), facilitating student participation in piano festivals, contests, theory exams, and for many years has served as the Ensemble Co-chair for ADMTA.
For over a decade, Catherine has been part of the Capital Music Center in Austin TX where she maintains a studio of over 65 piano and voice students, while as the Education Director she is instrumental in furthering CMC’s goals to provide digital private or group lessons to over 400 area students.
